Evidence

We don’t formulate by trend. We formulate by evidence.

Every NG Advanced formula starts from the most researched nutrients, in the best-supported chemical form and in the amount at which each benefit is obtained. This is how we do it.

Only benefits assessed by EFSA and authorised in the European Union, with the amount at which they are obtained.

Our method

Four filters every ingredient passes before it goes into a formula.

  1. Evidence

We choose nutrients with decades of research and benefits recognised by European regulation.

  2. Chemical form

We use the best-supported and best-tolerated form: creatine monohydrate, EPA and DHA from fish, magnesium bisglycinate.

  3. Dose

We match each serving to the amount at which the effect is obtained, or comfortably exceed it.

  4. Transparency

We declare the real intake in the unit that counts: grams of creatine, EPA and DHA separately, elemental magnesium.

The science behind each formula

What the research says, the authorised benefits and how we translate them into your daily serving.

Creatine monohydrate

Creatine monohydrate is one of the most studied supplements in the world, with hundreds of clinical trials and decades of research on efficacy and safety. The International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) ranks it as the most effective nutritional supplement for high intensity exercise capacity.

Today it is also one of the most active lines of research in biohacking, thanks to its role in the brain’s energy metabolism and in active ageing.

Your NG Advanced serving

3 g per day, 99.99% purity: exactly the amount in the authorised claim.

See the formula: Creatine Monohydrate

EU-authorised health claims

  • Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise. With 3 g of creatine per day, in adults performing high intensity exercise.
  • Daily creatine consumption can enhance the effect of resistance training on muscle strength in adults over the age of 55.With 3 g per day together with regular resistance training.

Omega-3: EPA and DHA

EPA and DHA are among the most researched nutrients in nutrition. They form part of the membranes of all your cells, and DHA is a main structural component of the brain and the retina.

EFSA sets 250 mg per day as the amount for the heart effect and considers intakes of up to 5 g per day of combined EPA and DHA to be safe for adults.

Your NG Advanced serving

900 mg of EPA + DHA per serving, 360 mg of it DHA: more than three times the reference amount.

See the formula: Cantabrian Omega-3

  • EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. With 250 mg of EPA and DHA per day.
  • DHA contributes to maintenance of normal brain function. With 250 mg of DHA per day.
  • DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. With 250 mg of DHA per day.
  • Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.40 mg of natural vitamin E per serving (333% NRV).

Magnesium and vitamin B6

Magnesium is a cofactor in more than 300 enzyme systems, and ATP, your cells’ energy molecule, is active when bound to it. Vitamin B6 is a coenzyme in more than a hundred metabolic reactions.

Together they add up to 16 health claims authorised in the European Union: energy, nervous system, psychological function, muscle, bones, homocysteine and defences. EFSA sets the maximum for B6 at 12 mg per day for adults; our serving provides 6 mg.

Your NG Advanced serving

200 mg of elemental magnesium (53% NRV) and 6 mg of vitamin B6 (429% NRV) per 2-capsule serving.

How to read a label

The five keys to comparing any supplement with clinical judgement.

Nutrient reference value (NRV)
The daily reference amount set by European regulation for labelling. It lets you compare at a glance: 200 mg of magnesium is 53% of the NRV.
Elemental magnesium
The real amount of magnesium your body receives, not the weight of the compound. It is the figure to use when comparing magnesium products.
EPA and DHA
The omega-3s that count. Look at the milligrams of EPA and DHA per serving rather than the milligrams of oil.
Daily dose
Each authorised benefit is tied to a specific amount. Check that the daily serving reaches it.
Chemical form
The best-supported form makes the difference: creatine monohydrate, EPA and DHA from fish, magnesium chelated with glycine.
