Two nutrients, the same processes
Magnesium is a cofactor in more than 300 enzyme systems, from energy production to nerve transmission. Vitamin B6, in its active form (pyridoxal 5'-phosphate), is a coenzyme in more than a hundred reactions, many of them in amino acid metabolism.
The two overlap in three major areas: energy, the nervous system and psychological function.
